This grassy location was once the scene of a deadly explosion, and a ghost haunts the spot to this day.
Gather in front of the old Imperial Theater, 302 N Marr Street, on October 3rd for the 9 p.m. departure of this easy walking tour (the tour lasts about 90 minutes). Cost is $5/person to benefit Five Rivers Historic Preservation.
The Randolph County Heritage Museum on the square in Pocahontas will be displaying school memorabilia from schools past and present in Randolph County.
The exhibit will be on display from September 15 through October 31.
Even if your school has been closed or consolidated, we want your participation in this exhibit of our schools. Please drop off your items at the museum now thru September 5.
